About Me

Zhenbang He (何振邦)
PhD Student @ UBC
I am a first-year PhD student in the OVI lab at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan since January 2025, advised by Prof. Barrett Ens. Prior to this, I received my master’s degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences(UCAS). During my time at UCAS, I was a member of VisuCA lab and was advised by Prof. Zhanglin Cheng. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Dalian University of Technology.
My research interests span Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Graphics, and Computer Vision, with a particular focus on adaptive user interfaces and novel 3D content creation tools. During my master’s and bachelor’s studies, my work primarily centered on 3D reconstruction and 3D modeling.
Currently, I am exploring novel intelligent interaction techniques to accelerate content creation, investigating the interesting intersections of HCI and CG. As a pragmatist, I value both the functional and aesthetic aspects of my work, paying close attention to how my projects work, look, and feel.
